Native perennial forb reaching 2 to 5 feet. Flat-topped clusters of white ray flowers blooming July through September, providing critical late-season support for pollinators. Thrives in open forest edges, grasslands, and sunny disturbed sites. Tolerates drought once established. Abundant in Oregon and California, threatened in Washington. Oregon provenance.
