Cardamine pennsylvanica

Small white flowers on slender stems above a rosette of pinnately divided leaves. Found across most of North America in wetlands, streambanks, and disturbed wet ground. Annual, sometimes biennial, that reseeds prolifically via the explosive dehiscence Cardamines are known for. Good for filling wet spots where little else wants to grow. Grows wild here on the nursery grounds in wet gravel in our cold groundwater seep. Part sun to full shade, consistently wet to moist soil.
